Rule 12.285 for Mandatory Financial Disclosure
If you are filing for or responding to a divorce petition and there is property, real estate, debts, stocks, retirement, brokerage accounts, businesses, or any other assets, then you will have to comply with Rule 12.285. This disclosure is especially important in cases where one spouse does not have information or access to all the marital and non-marital assets. Rule 12.285 is the basic mandatory disclosure. Other financial disclosure requirements can require years of financial documentation.
